All new Nexus 7 (2013), the major differences start right from the dimensions, with the new tablet being 2 mm thinner and 50 g lighter than the older variant. The display has also seen some major work done, with the sleeker tablet coming with a 1920 x 1200 resolution and a 323 ppi pixel density. And if that wasn’t enough, the 7-point touch IPS panel is not only scratch-resistant, but also will be fingerprint smudge resistant. The new tablet will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC, which sports four Krait cores clocked at 1.5GHz. Also thrown in is an Adreno 320 GPU, as well as 2GB of RAM. The specs also include a 5 megapixel rear camera, 1.2 megapixel front shooter, and support for Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and dual-band Wi-Fi capabilities.
